SWP Projection

Withdrawing ₹10,000 monthly from a ₹1,000,000 corpus at 8% expected annual return for 5 years.

  1. Initial Corpus = 1,000,000
  2. Monthly Withdrawal = 10,000
  3. Monthly rate = 8% / 12 = 0.6667%
  4. Month 1 Interest = 1,000,000 × 0.006667 = 6,666.67
  5. Month 1 Balance = 1,000,000 + 6,666.67 - 10,000 = 996,666.67
  6. Process repeats for 60 months.

Frequently Asked Questions

A Systematic Withdrawal Plan (SWP) allows you to withdraw a fixed amount regularly from your investment corpus, providing a steady income stream.
